Hi everyone! It's me, Shrub! 🐾

I wanted to give you a little update because I'm doing AMAZING!

I'm still the sweetest (and sleepiest!) little cattle dog around. I love taking long naps, but the second it's time for a walk or a quick run around the neighborhood, I'm up and ready to go!

My absolute favorite place is the dog park. I LOVE meeting new doggy friends, and I've become quite the social butterfly! I seem to have lots of friends my size, and my family says it's been so much fun watching my personality shine whenever I'm around other pups.

After a good walk or an afternoon at the park, I have the best routine—I dramatically flop onto my back for one giant full-body stretch! My family thinks it's the cutest thing ever, and it's become one of our favorite daily traditions.

I've also been working really hard on my manners. I know my basic commands now, and I'm getting better and better at coming when I'm called. My family says I've made so much progress since we've bonded, and one day they hope I'll be able to enjoy some safe off-leash adventures.

I'm still figuring out that it's okay when my people leave the house for a little while. We've been practicing alone time together, and I'm doing so much better! Right now I can relax for about two hours while they keep an eye on me. Honestly, I'd much rather spend my time with people or playing with other dogs than chasing toys or playing fetch. My family says I might even get a dog sibling someday, but until then I'm soaking up all the love, attention, and cozy spots around the house for my many naps.

I've always been a sweet and trusting girl, but now that I'm feeling completely at home, my family has discovered one funny little thing about me—I can be pretty chatty! I like to whine and "talk" when I'm excited, and it always makes everyone laugh.

Life is wonderful, and I'm so happy, comfortable, and loved in my forever home. Thank you to everyone at Wet Noses for giving me this incredible second chance. I couldn't have asked for a better family. ❤️
