Hi everyone! My name used to be Milwaukee, but now I’m Ruby — and apparently I’m growing like a weed! 🌱🐾

Life with my new family has been so much fun. I have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever brother named Cooper, and keeping him active is basically my full-time job. Sometimes he thinks I’m adorable… and sometimes I think I annoy him just a little bit. But that’s what little sisters are for, right?

I also made a new neighbor friend — a 1-year-old Golden Retriever! We’ve been working very hard on perfecting tug-of-war together. Right now I may not quite have the body weight to win, but give me time. I’m determined.

My family says I’m feisty, independent, and very good at testing boundaries. Personally, I call it confidence. I also happen to be a pretty excellent cuddler when I’m done causing puppy chaos for the day.

One of the coolest parts of my new life is how many people already love me. My mom’s friends have completely fallen for me and keep showering me with attention, toys, and gifts. I even got my very own monogrammed puppy blanket, which makes me feel extremely fancy.

I’m still learning all the important puppy things — potty training, regular training, and figuring out what I can and can’t get away with. My mom says it’s been over 20 years since she’s had a puppy, so we’re both learning together.

But one thing is for sure: I’m very loved. And honestly? I think I found the perfect home. ❤️
