Hi everyone, it’s me, Gwen! 💕 I’m settling into my new home SO well, and I have been keeping my pawrents very busy! Tomorrow I start puppy class, where I’ll be working on my impulse control and learning important big-dog skills like leash walking and “leave it.” (Although I’m not sure why “leave it” needs to be a thing… 😂)

When I first came home, I was about 12 pounds, and now I’m almost 20 pounds! I’m growing big and strong, just like I’m supposed to. 💪🐶

I’m also VERY smart. Sometimes maybe a little too smart because my pawrents have a hard time keeping me entertained while they work. Apparently, regular toys just aren’t interesting enough for my big ol’ brain! 🧠😏

But you know what IS interesting? My Pupsicle! That is definitely the highlight of my day. I also already know how to sit, lay down, give paw, AND roll over. 🎓🐾

I’m a super cuddly girl, too, and my pawrents say I make their hearts melt. I’m also quite the vocal little lady! I don’t howl… yet. 😉 But I do bark and make this funny little chittering sound that apparently makes me sound like a bird. 🐦😂

One of my funniest habits is crossing my back legs when I lay down. I’m such a little lady! 🎀🐾

I’m also a pro with my snuffle mat and enrichment feeder. In fact, I can finish the feeder in about 6 minutes, while most dogs take around 15. What can I say? I’m efficient. 😌

I still have those crazy-sharp puppy teeth, though, and I’m VERY interested in furniture and wires that I’m apparently not supposed to chew on. So I’m definitely keeping my pawrents on their toes! 😈🦷

My family says they love me so much and are so happy I’m part of their little family. And honestly… I think they’re pretty lucky to have me, too. 💕🐶

Love,Gwen 🐾
