Hi everyone! My name used to be Banana, and I came all the way from Houston to Bremerton to find my forever family. These days, I go by Cookie Dough — but my friends just call me Cookie or Cooks. 🍪🐾

Life has changed a LOT since I arrived in the Pacific Northwest, and honestly? I think I hit the jackpot.

A few days a week, I head into the office with my Mama where I’ve become a very important employee. My duties mostly include supervising meetings, accepting compliments, and sleeping on the job. The humans there absolutely adore me, and I make sure everyone gets at least one smile during the workday. I also get to enjoy nice walks around the city, which has helped me build confidence and explore new sights and smells.

When I’m not busy with office responsibilities, I spend time at home hanging out with my Dad or relaxing with the cats. I’m still figuring them out, but I think we’ve reached a mutual understanding.

One of my favorite things ever is car rides. At first, some parts were pretty spooky — especially those windshield wipers! But now? I LOVE cruising around town with the wind blowing through my ears. I even nap in my booster seat like a pro. And when my little brother Oliver is in the backseat too, we become the ultimate duo. We like to play a very relaxed version of fetch together.

Family time is the best part of my day. I get endless couch snuggles, cozy recliner naps, and lots of love from everyone. Grandpa always sneaks me special treats, and Grandma makes sure I have the softest blankets for maximum comfort.

I’m still working on a few things, like staying calm around dogs my size on walks and remembering not to pull so hard on the leash. But I’ve already learned “sit,” I’m getting much better about accidents in the house, and I can put my harness on and off calmly now too!

Most importantly, I’m loved. Truly loved. My family says they’re grateful to have me, but I think I’m the lucky one. From Houston to Bremerton, my journey brought me exactly where I was meant to be. ❤️
